發動機在熱機狀態時,千萬不要打開散熱器蓋,否則可能會被濺出的冷卻液或高溫蒸氣燙傷。等發動機冷卻后,檢查冷卻液的液面應處于滿位和低位之間,否則應加蒸餾水或純凈水(不能加礦泉水)或冷凍液,加水后的液面高度不能超過滿位。如發現短時間內冷卻液減少的很快,應檢查冷卻系統是否有泄漏或到維修站去檢查。

制動也在高、低位之間則表示正常。如果制動液接近下限或低于下限則表示系統中可能有泄漏或制動蹄片磨損過多,應及時到維修站進行檢修。補加制動液時,要注意加同一種型號的制動液,防止損壞皮碗,注意保護好油漆防止腐蝕漆面。

五、蓄電池的保養檢查

檢查蓄電池固定是否牢固,電解液應在上限和下限之間,接近下線時應及時補加電解液或蒸餾水至高位線。保持蓄電池正負電纜接觸良好,并保持蓄電池清潔干燥。放置時間較長的車輛要摘下蓄電池的正負極電纜,相隔半個月左右重新接線起動發動機約20分鐘后,如果電量明顯不足要及時充電。
